Firefighters tackle kitchen blaze at Lymm

TWO fire crews tackled a kitchen blaze at a house in Lymm this afternoon.

One fire engine from Birchwood and one from Greater Manchester attended the scene at a property on Farcroft Close, Lymm shortly before 4pm.

Firefighters, two wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

Crews then used a large fan to clear smoke from the property.

There were no reports of any casualties.
