Appeal launched after cat shot at Latchford

WARRINGTON Police have launched an appeal for information after a pet cat was shot at Latchford, Warrington, yesterday.

Billy the cat was shot by an air rifle somewhere close to Oldham Street in Latchford.

He is now recovering at home, but police would like to catch his shooter.

It follows on from at least two other cat shootings in the area last year.
