The Disability Information stall, which has had a home on Warrington Market for the past 23 years, will close for the final time today (Saturday).

The charity organised a fond farewell event at the stall prior to closing, when Chief Executive Dave Thompson thanked all those who had made it such a success.

The information service will now transfer to the Shopmobility facility in the Golden Square Multi-storey car park.

During the time on the market, the stall as well as providing information for disabled people, also helped raise £350,000 in the sale of pin badges for various local charities.
