Dead horses dumped at roadside near Winwick

5

A motorist who was driving his youngest child to day nursery was shocked and horrified to see two dead horses dumped at the road side near Winwick.

The animals had been dumped on the grass verge on Hermitage Green Lane, an area notorious for fly tipping.

It appeared some attempt had been made to cover the bodies.

Only last week the lane had to be closed due to the amount of fly tipping.

No further details are known at this time.

  1. That’s absolutely shocking !! 🙁 Who on earth would do something like that? 🙁 To just dump them there makes me wonder what sort of life they had while they were alive, clearly not a loving owner that’s for sure. I hope the police/rspca/other organisations manage to find who they belonged to and who dumped them.
