WARRINGTON Town have swooped to sign their former goal scoring machine Ciaran Kilheeney.
Kilheeney aged 30, left Town after two successful seasons to join his home town club at Droylsden, where he continued to enjoy goal scoring success last season, including scoring five times against Warrington.
A delighted manager Shaun Reid said: “It will be great to have ‘Killer’ back at Warrington Town. He is a proven goal scorer at every club he has played for.
“It is a massive boost for our squad. We missed ‘Killer’ last season and it will be good to see him scoring for us again instead of against us!”
Chairman Toby Macormac added: “We had two striker’s at the top of our target list for next season and Ciaran rejoining us brings to fruition those targets alongside the recent addition of Steven Gillespie.
“With a couple more signings our squad will be complete and one which I believe will be very competitive for next season.”
Kilheeney, a former Manchester City trainee, has also previously played at Chorley, Ashton United, Burscough and Southport.
