Stockton Heath Travel celebrate 15 years

FEBRUARY 2011 marks the 15th anniversary of Stockton Heath Travel Centre under its current ownership.
We took over the business (Fairway Travel as it was then known) in February 1996 and moved it from Walton Road to London Road in Stockton Heath.
Since then we have arranged thousands of holidays for both local residents and customers from all over the world. We have survived major threats to our business including 9/11, Foot and Mouth, the ash cloud, British Airways strikes and of course the dreaded internet!
We attribute our continued success to the experience of our staff, their dedication and hard work and, most importantly, the loyalty of our fantastic customers. We have been fortunate enough to win a number of awards in recent years ie Linda was awarded runner up in the UK – ‘Independent Agency Proprietor of the Year Award’ and Jacqueline was awarded – ‘Independent Travel Agency Manager of the Year Award’ in the North West. We have continued to evolve and adapt to the fast growing pace of change that is synonymous with the travel industry. In the last 15 years we have embraced many different initiatives to keep us at the forefront of the market. Amongst the most memorable were our “Santa Bights, concert/theatre breaks and coach trips. Our Independence status as a Travel Agency means we can offer clients total Bexibility and tailor make their holiday to suit their needs. We have many years experience in organising complex long haul itineraries and honeymoons / wedding packages/hen & stag weekends.
Plus we offer a gift service for your guests to pay towards your honeymoon. This is helping us to grow from strength to strength.
We can book Bight only, beach holidays, worldwide itineraries, cruise, winter sports, city breaks, villa holidays, tours, car hire, UK& Ireland breaks, plus airport hotels, lounges & parking etc.
Of more importance than ever in the current economic climate is the security of our customers’ holidays. The Anancial collapse of major tour operators and high proAle “horror stories” of internet bookings have led to customers returning in their droves to trusted travel agents like ourselves. We ensure that your travel and holiday
plans are fully protected against possible Anancial failure of the airline or holiday company. At Stockton Heath Travel Centre, we only book through operators who have Anancial protection either through ABTA, the Civil Aviation Authority or another comparable organisation.
