Wolves deny Eastmond link

WARRINGTON Wolves have denied making an approach for St Helens’ young scrum-half Kyle Eastmond, who is being linked with a switch to Rugby Union after holding talks with Bath.
Chief Executive says reports linking the Wolves with 21-year-old Eastmond is “pure media speculation.”
He added: “Warrington Wolves get linked with so many players and the club is at its salary cap.”
Eastmond (pictured right) has just one year left on his contract. He missed the back end of last season with an ankle injury and despite two operations is unlikely to be fir in time for the start of the new season, although he is believed to be nearing full fitness.
He held talks with Bath in December regarding a possible switch from league to Union.
Warrington had been linked with making an approach for him to persuade him to stay in League.
