Santa arrives in style

SANTA arrived in style with his reindeer and sleigh at Warrington Market to open his grotto as crowds turned out despite the freezing weather.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Warrington Coun John and Betty Joyce were on hand to officially opened Warrington Disability Partnerships Santa’s Grotto in the market hall.
Youngsters were entertained by WDP mascot Ollie (pictured above with Santa) and his friend the Elf, before visiting Santa and receiving their presents.
First in the queue to see Santa was Matthew Wells, from Longbarn, who suffers from Cerebral Palsy.
Matthew (pictured below) absolutely loved the grotto with its twinkling lights and Santa sent him on his way with a smile on his face!
The grotto is open every Saturday and every day during the week before Christmas.
A Christmas gift stall, raffle and tombola are also running at the market to raise funds for Warrington Disability Partnership.
