LEGENDARY rockers Status Quo thrilled a sell out crowd at Warrington's new look Parr Hall last night.
Despite being on the road for more than 40 years - it was Quo's first ever visit to Warrington as they performed to a 1,100 crowd, the smallest venue on their Quid Pro Quo European tour.
Supported by The Crave, Quo had the Parr Hall rocking to a catalogue of their classic hits in a two hour spectacular, opening the show with their classic anthem Caroline before belting out a lengthy list of favourites including Don't Waste My Time, Paperplane, Rain, Mystery Song, In the Army Now and Rocking All Over the World, to name but a few.
Front man Francis Rossi (pictured right) described the Parr Hall as a "Bijou" venue and joked about the size of the stage, apologising if band members bumped into each other.
"We normally have a bit more space to do our stuff," he joked.
It was certainly a night to remember for the Quo faithful with many commenting it was like seeing their heroes in their front living room!
The concert wouldn't have been possible if it hadn't been for a £1.2m investment in the historic building, including improvements to the stage and bar areas and a new sound and lighting system.
The Rolling Stones and The Who have previously appeared at the Parr Hall before they became famous.
