WARRINGTON people are being invited to play their part in shaping the town’s transport for the future.
The borough council is consulting on a new Local Transport Plan covering transport policies, both long and short term, and plans for future funding.
Coun Alan Litton, executive member for environment and transport, said: “Transport is an essential part of our lives and connects us with jobs, education, healthcare, shopping and leisure. It is also a key component of the economy, linking businesses with workers, customers and clients.

The consultation runs until December 17 and anyone can take part by visiting www.warrington.gov.uk or by picking up a leaflet and response form from the Contact Centre in Horsemarket Street or by calling 01925 442686 for a leaflet to be posted out.
