ARMED Services Day will be celebrated in Warrington on Saturday (August 28) with a day of military exhibitions, displays and entertainment in the town centre.
The day is being organised by the borough council and the Mercian Regiment, supported by the Royal Military Police and representatives from 33 Signals, 75 Engineers and the Duke of Lancashire Regiment.
The Warrington Afghan Challenge fundraising team will be at Market Gate collecting donations for Help for Heroes and other service charities throughout the day.  
Events start at 10am and continue until 4pm.
