Wolves name strong squad

WARRINGTON Wolves’ new signings Micky Higham and Gareth Carvell will make their debuts for the visit of Hull Kingston Rovers this Thursday (January 29) Kick off 7.45pm.
They will make their debuts alongside long awaited comebacks for the injured trio of Chris Bridge, Steve Pickersgill and Paul Johnson.
Wolves’ Chief Executive, Andy Gatcliffe, is hoping for some fantastic support from the Wolves faithful: “This is our fans first chance to have a look at the new look Wolves side for 2009. With key players returning from injury and the debuts of Carvell and Higham, it makes for a special night on Thursday.
“I appreciate the Christmas friendly was a disappointment for many fans, however it was an opportunity to see the young and up and coming players on the pitch, some of whom we hope will progress into the first team squad in the not too distant future.”
Gatcliffe added: “But back to this match against Hull Kingston Rovers. This is a big game and will launch our campaign for engage Super League XIV glory. It’s a big year for the club and we need everyone behind James Lowes and the boys.
“So please come and support your team ‘ you are the 14th man! We really do appreciate every single supporter who puts their hand in their pockets and shows their support for the team during these testing economic times.”
Tickets can be purchased from Wolfware or by calling 0871 622 1879. Cash turnstiles will be open on the day of the game in ALL stands (North, South and East).
Tickets are priced at £12 adults and £6 for concessions. Family tickets (2 adults, 2 concessions) and single parent family tickets (1 adult, 2 concessions) are available at £30 and £20 respectively. Turnstiles open at 6.30pm.
