- Early set back for Town
Warrington Town 0 Colwyn Bay 1 Pictures John Hopkins and Eddie Whitham

A goal after just three minutes proved to be the difference as Warrington Town suffered a set back to their play-off hopes as they went down 0-1 at home to high flying Colwyn Bay.
Without a game for six weeks Town were slow out of the blocks and were caught early on from a Daniel Grannon header.
The rest of the half produced few chances as Warrington started to fight their way back into the game although Town were indebted to goalkeeper Richie Mottram for keeping them in the game, twice denying livewire winger Eddie Jebb and also striker Ian Sheridan before half time.
Warrington had the better of the chances in the second half, winger Dave Roberts seeing his looping header go narrowly over the bar, but couldn't find a way through.
Man of the match Eddie Taylor worked hard in midfield while Tony Evans, Jimmy McCarthy and Chris Gahgan caused plenty of problems in the Colwyn Bay defence, with the final touch just eluding them.
Warrington can quickly put the defeat behind them as they entertain near neighbours Leigh at Cantilever Park on Tuesday, kick off 7.45pm
Town: Mottram, Hadland, Kinsey (Grogan 78), Kennedy, Tomlinson, Taylor, Roberts (Chetcuti 69), ODonnell, Evans, McCarthy, Gahgan. Subs: McLennan, Chetcuti, Dutton, Brown, Grogan.

Pictures show Mottram punching clear, McCarthy holding the ball and Chetcuti taking on the Bay defence.
