HEAVY snowfall during the night caused chaos in Lymm village today, with traffic brought to a near standstill on the busy A56.
Motorists had to resort to pushing their vehicles up the hill on the main road while there was also traffic chaos in the village centre.
But the snow scenes transformed the village into a picturesque winter wonderland and the sledges were soon out in force at Lymm Dam.
