TO celebrate the first birthday of the blue bin in Warrington and it’s incredible success, warrington-worldwide has teamed up with the council’s recycling team to run a photo competition.
Readers are invited to send in a photo of themselves or one of their friends, a family member or even a pet using the blue bin! Be creative, be cute, be adventurous!
How to enter: Entry is simple. All you need to do is take a photo of yourself or someone else recycling and using your bigger blue bin in an interesting and original way.
Then, simply email it to: [email protected]
Don’t forget to include your name and a contact number.
If you are under 18 you can definitely still enter the competition but you need to get permission from a parent or guardian first. Only one submission per person please.
The closing date for entries is midnight on Sunday 20 September 2009
The prize:
Prize – the chance to see your photo grace the cover of the next warrington-worldwide magazine and a £50 national garden centre voucher!
Rules:
The closing date for entries is midnight on Sunday 20 September 2009 and entries submitted after this time will not be entered into the competition.
By submitting your entry, you hereby grant the council and warrington-worldwide permission to publish, use and reproduce your entry in related promotional activities.
All entries must be your own original work and you must have received permission from all people featured. If your entry includes children under the age of eighteen (18), you must have received the express permission of the child’s parent or legal guardian to use the child’s picture.
A short list of the top five entries will be selected by a voting panel comprised of representatives from the council’s recycling and communications team and also from warrington-worldwide. The top five entries will be published in the next edition of warrington-worldwide and on the council’s website along with the over all winner.
The panel’s decision is final.
