A NEW play area at a Warrington school, named by one of the pupils, will be officially opened at its summer fair on Saturday June 28.
All will be welcome at  Statham Primary School Summer Fair and the launch of the new area of the playground by chairman of Lymm Parish Council,  Coun Sheila Woodyatt at 1pm. She will be assisted by the youngster who thought of the name for the play area, Foxy's Funzone - after a character used in learning at the school.
Funds for the new area were raised by the PTA by a series of events.
