Two in hospital after blaze

TWO men were taken to hospital at Warrington today when fire broke out at the Unilever site in Liverpool Road.
Four fine engines from Warrington, Stockton Heath and Wines were called to the scene, together with an aerial appliance from Stockton Heath.
The fire is said to be on the fourth flooor of a decommissioned building, measuring 40 metres and 10 metres.
It is understood that contractors were welding in the building at the time of the outbreak. They managed to extinguish the blaze, but two men suffered the effects of smoke and were taken to hospsital by ambulance for precautionary checks.
Fire and rescue crews remain at the scene, using thermal imaging cameras to check there are no hotspots which might reignite.
