Fire crews tackle kitchen blaze

0

FIREFIGHTERS wearing breathing apparatus were called to a report of a kitchen fire in Warrington.
The blaze was at a property in Latham Avenue, Orford and involved a grill pan which had been left on the cooker.
By the time fire crews reached the scene, the fire was out, but the property was filled with smoke and a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear it.
No-one was hurt in the incident – possibly thanks to smoke detectors which gave an early warning of the fire.
