Candidate drops in on village

WARRINGTON South Labour Parliamentary candidate Nick Bent dropped in on Lymm, touring the village with local parish councillor Su Williams.
He met regulars at the luncheon club at Oughtrington Community Centre and set up stall outside Oughtrington Pre-School to coincide with the lunchtime pick-up.
Leaflets and balloons were handed out informing parents about Labour’s pledge for 25 hours of free child care for 3-4 year-olds and the proposed 8am-6pm wrap-around care at primary schools.
Later he repeated the whole thing outside Statham Primary School.
In between he spent time meeting shoppers, local traders and more younger parents at The Sanctuary Café and did some time on the doorstep in Albany Road and Whitesands Road.
