Golden couple died within six hours of each other

Frank and Doreen LawrenceAFTER 53 years of marriage, Frank and Doreen Lawrence died within six hours of each other.
They had lived at Heatley, Lymm throughout their marriage and Doreen, 75 was brought up there while Frank, 77, originally came from nearby Dunham.
Frank worked in farming in his early years, but later moved into the construction industry until he retired.
Doreen was employed as a machinist, making nurse uniforms at Massey Brook and later did domestic work.
Frank was keen on DIY while Doreen enjoyed doing crosswords. They both enjoyed spending time with family and friends, loved their dogs and cats and enjoyed tending their garden, feeding the birds and wildlife.
Frank leaves three nephews and Doreen leaves her sister and two nephews.
The funeral service took place at St Werburgh’s New church, Warburton, followed by internment at St Werburgh’s Old Church.
Canon Michael Burgess officiated.
The couple are pictured on their Golden Wedding Day.
