Warrington is Feeling the Love!

THE campaign to #LoveWarrington this Valentine’s Day, promoting the town as a visitor destination, is gaining momentum with more and more people and local businesses spreading the Love.
Various community partners are helping promote the #LoveWarrington Day in Golden Square next Saturday February 14.
The campaign is promoting Warrington as a leisure and business destination and encouraging people to show pride in their town.
The visitor economy in Warrington is worth over around £447 million each year.
Collectively the #LoveWarrington campaign, which is being backed by warrington-worldwide, Golden Square, The Village and Park Royal Hotels, Warrington Wolves and Warrington Town FC, to name but a few, is urging the Warrington Twitter community to use #LoveWarrington on all their tweets on the February 14 to try and get it trending in the UK. Although just a small gesture, it is hoped that by promoting the town through the event and via social media channels the profile of Warrington and its status can be raised as a visitor destination.
A hole host of activities will be taking place in Golden Square and around the town centre this coming Saturday from 10am with a chance to meet various characters and local celebrities including Wolfie, Gully Mouse and Ollie the Owl.
