THREE fire engines were called to reports of a kitchen fire at Warrington – but found it was already out when they got there.
The blaze was at a flat at Greenings Court, Orford and involved a pan of food which had been left unattended on a cooker.
The flat was heavily smokelogged and the occupier was suffering from slight smoke inhalation. Fire crews used a ventilation unit to clear smoke from the property and paramedics treated the casualty at the scene.
Firefighters from Warrington and Stockton Heath were involved in the incident yesterday (Sunday).
