Motorway re-opens after crash

THE M6 motorway northbound carriageway has now fully re-opened following the crash involving a heavy lorry and a car near Warrington this morning.
Rush hour traffic is moving freely on the motorway, although police still advise drivers who can avoid the area to do so..
Thecrash involved a lorry which careered off the motorway between Junction 21 and Junction 21a between Woolston and Croft at 7.35am following a collision with a car. The lorry driver was taken to Warrington Hospital wherehe is still detailed with head and arm injuries..
Two other people, a man and a woman, were also taken to hospital, but their injuries are not thought to be serious.
