THE Clatterbridge Cancer Centre will receive support from Warrington business Outsauce in 2015.
Based at the St James Business Centre, the Outsauce are contractor and staffing sector financial support specialists and their team has a strong reputation for charity fundraising. The partnership was confirmed following a companywide vote.
The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre is one of the UK’s largest networked cancer centres. It treats over 30,000 patients a year from nine operating sites across Merseyside and Cheshire.
Miles Lloyd, CEO, Outsauce said: “Clatterbridge is an extremely important lifeline for the people affected by cancer in the North West and is valued highly by the patients and their families. Many of our staff have personal connections with the charity and as a proud Warrington business, we are thrilled to be supporting Clatterbridge in 2015.”
The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity offers pioneering chemotherapy, radiotherapy and is the UK’s only provider of proton therapy for eye cancers.
Miles continues: “Throughout the year, the team at the Warrington office will be holding fundraising events to raise as much money as possible. The funds raised by Outsauce will help to offer the most up to date treatment, support vital research, treat patients with world class equipment and provide life-changing support services, so we are thrilled to announce the partnership.”
Jade Barrett, area fundraising manager, Clatterbridge Cancer Charity said: “We are so delighted to have been chosen as charity partner by staff at Outsauce, thank you to everybody that voted for us. We are very excited about the coming 12 months, working together to make a difference to Clatterbridge cancer patients and their families.”
