Celebrate the first Harry Potter Night

WARRINGTON leisure and lifestyle group LiveWire is to host a fun evening of activities and games with a magic theme at Orford Jubilee Park – to celebrate the first-ever world Harry Potter Night.
The event will be held from 6pm to 7.30pm on Thursday, February 5 and will start with a treasure hunt in the library.
It will then progress to Warrington’s very own Hogwarts when the sorting hat will decide who will be in which house.
There will also be a quiz and other games on the evening, where everyone competes for house points.
The evening will form part of LiveWire’s celebration for National Libraries Day on Saturday February 7, showcasing the fantastic facilities libraries have to offer and the magic they can bring to people of all ages.
To mark the day all LiveWire libraries will be hosting a quiz from Monday February 2 in conjunction with the magic theme, where participants of all ages will have to identify Harry Potter quotes.
Chris Everett, senior LiveWire advisor said: “We are really looking forward to sharing a fabulous evening with fans old and new. Our young volunteers have been working hard to create decorations to make the room look as magical as we hope the event will be.”
Entry to the event is by ticket only, available from any LiveWire library and is open to anyone aged seven or over – and its free.
