POLICE at Warrington are investigating after thieves broke into a car during the night and stole property from inside.
The incident was in Wellcroft Gardens, Lymm and was the latest in a series of similar thefts in the area.
Police are advising motorists to make sure their vehicles are secure and that no property of any value is visible inside.
In the meantime, a man has been arrested in connection with the theft of a pedal cycle in Lymm and the bike has been returned to its owner.
A police spokesman said: “The bike was logged on the police bike register making it easy to locate the owner.”
Anyone who can help police should call 101.
