WARRINGTON Wolves have teamed up with Golden Square Shopping Centre as the team and town prepare to face a Rugby League giant from the other side of the world.
In the opening match of the World Club Series, the Wolves will host NRL side St George Illawarra Dragons at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday 20 February, 8pm.
The club is delighted to unveil a specially designed shirt that the team will pull on for this clash of international proportions.
Available to order now exclusively Online and at Golden Square Shopping Centre on Saturday 31 January; the shirt is limited to just 500.
This exclusive jersey, in the club’s primrose and blue-hooped design, mirrors that worn by the 1950 Challenge Cup winning side – the first Warrington team to win the competition at Wembley.
These World Club Series special edition shirts are exclusive to this one-off spectacular, with each one specially numbered (from 1 – 500) and embroidered with the match details.
With truly a limited number available, it’s important to get your orders in now from WolfWare Online – priced at £45 adults and £35 children.
In the run-up to the World Club Series and giving fans the chance to meet their world-class squad, Warrington Wolves will be in Golden Square Shopping Centre on Saturday 31 January in a World Club Series takeover.
The entire first-team squad will be present between 12pm and 2pm.
Ian Cox, Golden Square Centre Director, said: “We are delighted to welcome the Warrington Wolves team to Golden Square to show off the brand new strip they will be wearing to face top Aussie side St George Illawarra Dragons in their exciting World Club Series clash right here in our town.
“It will be the first time that fans will be able to see the specially designed shirt and we are delighted to team up with Warrington Wolves to be able to offer shoppers this exclusive chance to get their hands on the new strip.
“I am sure it will be a hugely popular event and it will be a great opportunity to also meet the players and wish them luck for the big match.”
