Carers invited to free supper event at St Rocco's

ST Rocco’s Hospice is opening its doors to carers and patients with life-limiting illnesses across Warrington to enjoy a free social event in January.
The ‘Friday Night Hot Pot Supper’ takes place on 30th January, providing a chance for carers and patients to meet other people, relax and socialise, and enjoy a delicious meal with a quiz and entertainment.
The evening is completely free, and provides a fantastic opportunity to experience St Rocco’s in an informal setting.
The event follows the very successful Fish and Chip Supper held in October, which was enjoyed by over 20 carers and patients, and provided a unique opportunity for them to enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed, social setting.
The evening is open to all carers and patients with life limiting illness within Warrington, whether they are already known to the Hospice or not.
Alison White, Matron at St. Rocco’s, said: “We recognise that carers play a crucial role in helping patients manage their illnesses, and that often they neglect their own needs for others. The Hot Pot Supper is our way of offering them a free opportunity to relax and meet other carers, and enjoy some time with their loved ones in a sociable setting.
We’re very welcoming at St. Rocco’s, and would love to see some new faces join us for the evening, as well as existing friends.”
