House in garden plan withdrawn

A PLAN to build a dormer bungalow in the garden of an existing property in Druridge Drive, Penketh was withdrawn before it came before Warrington’s planning committee.
It was the second time the proposal had been withdrawn – and it was being recommended by officers for refusal.
Four neighbours had also lodged objections.
Officers said the new dwelling would be in a cramped position and did not adhere to the same design as adjacent dwellings. There were also concerns about the safety of the proposed access.
Although the property was described as a “dormer bungalow” it had more the appearance of a two-storey dwelling.
