A BOWLS pavilion in a popular Warrington park is to be given a facelift – if planning chiefs give approval.
Plans have been drawn up for the refurbishment of the pavilion in Alexandra Park, Stockton Heath.
Planning officers are recommending the scheme improved, pointing out that the proposals will not increase the mass of the existing building, no change in the use of the site and no impact on the amenity of nearby residents.
Existing security bars and grills and timber cladding will be removed and a new brick wall created at the rear of the building. The changes will improve the overall character and appearance of the pavilion.
