A FLURRY of snow showers ensured Warrington experienced a Boxing Day “White Christmas.”
Late afternoon sleet turned into heavy snowfall during the early evening ensuring a blanket of snow across the town.
Snow showers are forecast throughout the evening before returning to sleet later tonight (Friday).
Cold weather is forecast throughout the next few days with the temperature droppoing to below freezing during the night.
