Anti-hate crusader inspires pupils

PARALYMPIAN Adrian Derbyshire visited Winwick Primary School to deliver two workshops as part of the school’s Anti – Bullying Week.
He spoke about anti-bullying and hate crime and his own life experiences.
Adrian from Warrington, who has been on an on going anti-hate campaign around the UK brought in many arte-facts including his Olympic torch and Gold Medals he has achieved as well as his sword fencing equipment.
Adrian was very inspiring, talking about the difficulties he had overcome with his injuries and the triumphs he had achieved since.
During his travels he has hand cycled to Lands End and also been to meet the Prime minister at 10 Downing Street to receive a special award in
recognition of his achievements.
