Children spread festive cheer

SCHOOL children from Warrington are helping to spread some festive cheer on a housing estate by creating Christmas tree federations.
The youngsters from Latchford St James CE Primary School were given the task of creating their own colourful bauble designs to hang on the tree at the nearby Walton Locks development.
Steve Jackson, sales director at Walton Locks for developer David Wilson Homes said: “This year we wanted the local school children to show their
imagination and let their festive energy sweep into our development giving it a local feel.
“It was fantastic to watch their happy little faces as they placed their personalised baubles on the tree – the Christmas spirit certainly spread through the team and injected an added ray of colour into the sales centre.”
Head teacher Mrs Jacqueline Wightman said: “The children were so excited to create their own baubles for the local development and loved
experimenting with glitter and colour.
“They were pleased as punch when they saw the tree and had a great time doing it!”
