Postal worker in stable condition after being airlifted to hospital

A YOUNG postal worker who had to be airlifted to hospital following a road traffic collision at Appleton, Warrington, is in a stable condition.
Now police are appealing for witnesses following the incident which took place in Chessington Close at around 10:45am on Saturday, December 13, when the 20-year man was injured after a van collided with him in the close.
As a result the man suffered serious leg injuries and air ambulance was called to transport him to Wythenshawe Hospital where he remains in a stable condition. The investigation continues to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the incident should call 101 quoting incident 443 of 13/12/2014.
