Town crier Peter Powell (pictured right) led the parade through the village with local school children dressed in festive costumes.
Villagers and shop keepers entered ino the spirit of the occasion, with some wearing Victorian costumes.
The weather stayed fine as the Santa dash kicked off proceedings from the Lymm Hotel, followed a parade through the village.
