Garden fires

FIRE crews were called out twice today to deal with fires in the gardens of private houses at Warrington.
The first blaze involved trees in the back garden of a house in Burton Close, Culcheth and two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish it.
Later, crews were called to Lockerbie Close and used one hosereel jet to extinguish a small fire.
No details have been given of the cause of either fire.
