FIRE broke out at a warehouse unit at Warrington this afternoon.
The blaze was at premises in Lockheed Road, Burtonwood and was reported shortly before 4pm.
Onsite personnel had extinguished the outbreak by the time fire crews from Warrington’s Winwick Road fire station reached the scene.
But the crews use a thermal imaging camera to make sure there were no further “hot spots” before leaving the scene.
The blaze involved an electrical sorting machine.
