Arsonists in early hours attack

ARSONISTS struck at Warrington in the early hours of today – pushing a wheelie bin against the front door of a house and setting it alight.
The blaze was at a house in Broadbent Avenue, Latchford shortly after 1am.
Fire crews were able to deal with the fire with buckets of water as it had been partly extinguished by residents before the fire engine arrived from Warrington fire station.
Police were also at the scene.
Anyone who has information about the incident should call cheshire Police on 101 or contact the Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
In a separate incident, a fire engine from Warrington went to Thelwall Lane, Latchford where fire had burned through the base of a furnace at industrial premises.
Firefighters assisted staff to extinguish the fire.
