WARRINGTON Borough Council is backing Small Business Saturday on December 6, a national initiative which aims to boost trade for local shops and businesses in the all-important run-up to Christmas, by offering FREE parking on ALL council car parks.
The message is simple: Shop local and support local business. 
To help support Warrington town centre trade Warrington Borough Council is going to offer FREE car parking at all Warrington Borough Council car parks, including Lymm and Stockton Heath on Saturday, December 6.
Cllr Mike Hannon, (pictured) deputy Leader, Warrington Borough Council, said “Our small businesses are at the heart of our local economy and Small Business Saturday is a great opportunity to highlight the superb goods and services that they provide and offer help for them to thrive. Offering free parking on the day will encourage more shoppers into the town centre and give our businesses a pre-Christmas boost’.”
