warrington worldwide has teamed up with BiG Storage for their 9th Annual Toy Appeal to make sure there are plenty of presents for under privileged and vulnerable children who will be helped by the local charities based in and around Warrington.
This year’s appeal is based around an ACTIVE sporting theme.
Carley Stenson of TV & West End stage fame and a Patron of JUMP one of the fantastic local charities which this year’s appeal will help was at the launch event and said: “It’s a huge honour to work with Big Storage on their Active Toy Appeal. The toys form part of our annual Christmas memory which we host for children who are challenged with life threatening conditions and disabilities. For those families this is an event that brings some much needed happiness during difficult times. The gifts the people of Warrington provide is a very integral part of the memory”.
Paul Whittaker, BiG Storage’s Active Toy Appeal organiser added: “Last year was amazing, the people of Warrington yet again showed that even in these economically difficult times that they are willing to dig deep to help those less fortunate. We collected a record 4,800 toys last year and we are hoping for another fantastic response during our BiG Active Toy Appeal, please spare a thought for those children who would not get a present if it wasn’t for this appeal and the generosity of Warrington Worldwide readers.”
