The importance of being Earnest

THE popular Oscar Wilde play, The Importance of Being Ernest, is being staged by a Warrington theatre company next month.
Centenary Theatre Company will perform the classic at The Brindley Theatre, Runcorn, from September 6 to 10.
In the comedy two gentlemen maintain fictitious personas in order to escape burdensome obligations. Its high farce and witty dialogue have helped make it Wilde’s most enduringly popular play.
Tickets and further information is available at www.centenarytheatre.co.uk or from The Brindley box office on 0151 907 8360.
