SIXTEEN-year-old Caitlin Holmes is bidding to be the “Face of the World” after winning through to the finals taking place in Disneyland Paris on October 27.
The former Boteler High School pupil from Woolston, who is the current Teen Face of North West England will be competing against girls from across the globe for the title.
During the competition she will have to take part in a national themed fancy dress party, produce a two minute film about herself which will be on you tube, take part in a gala evening where she has to give a speech about herself, raise money for Headway Kent, customise an opening round dress and take part in an evening wear/ball gown catwalk. In the run up to the competition Caitlin has show her support to the Warrington Lions, St Rocco’s and the Woolston Show.
Caitlin has received lots of local support from Golden Square, Warrington Worldwide, Poppy photography, DMC Media and the Warrington Wolves and would like to say a huge thank you to them all.
“I am really excited to be competing in the finals and will do my best to make Warrington proud,” said Caitlin.
Meanwhile younger sister Demi, aged 8, who has been Caitlin’s biggest supporter and always wished to be able to follow in her footsteps, is also celebrating success after winning Miss Junior Crown and Glory Northwest.
Her dreams had come true on her 8th birthday when she found out that she would be representing Warrington in the Junior Crown and Glory competition.
Demi has never competed in a pageant before but has watched her sister many times.
During the north west heat of the competition which took place in Ellesmere Port, she also won side tiotles, “best in interview,” “best in evening wear,” “most elegant,” and “best personality.”
Demi has been busy raising money for the Dean Puplett Appeal.
