THE Warrington winners of a £2m prize pot in the People’s Postcode Lottery will discover how much they have each won at an event at The Park Royal Hotel on Saturday.
The winning postcode has been revealed as WA1 3, and People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt will be the lucky person tasked with distributing the winning cheques.
She said: “I am so excited to be joining our lucky players from Warrington at The Park Royal Hotel to celebrate them sharing the £2 million Postcode Millions prize pot. I can’t wait to see how people react when their cheques are revealed.
“We were in Manchester in March celebrating with another community who won big so it’s great to be back in the North West of England. I hope our players all have a great day and enjoy seeing just how much of the £2 million prize pot they have won.
“I want to wish all players living in the WA1 3 sector a massive congratulations! It’s not just winners who benefit from playing People’s Postcode Lottery. To date players have raised over £51.4 million for charities and good causes, including Missing People, Dogs Trust and Riding for the Disabled Association.
Organisers will reveal more details regarding the party, including the minimum amount winners can expect to receive, in the coming days at www.postcodelottery.co.uk and in the press.
