Motor cycle torched in field

POLICE are investigating an incident in which a motor cycle was dumped in a field at Warrington and set on fire.
Fire crews from Warrington were called to the blaze off Old Hall Road this afternoon.
The bike was in the middle of a field and crews had to cross the field on foot because of the remote location. They used hand-held appliances to extinguish the flames.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police on 101 or the Crimestoppers confidential hotline on 0800 555 111.
In an earlier incident, fire crews used a hose reel jet to tackle a fire involving two cannisters of petrol at the side of Winwick Road, Warrington.
