NEW headteacher Beverley Scott-Herron welcomed Year 7 pupils to Sir Thomas Boteler CE High School at the annual inauguration evening, held at Warrington Parish Church.
This year intake consists of pupils from 16 primary schools, indicating that for many youngsters across the town, Boteler is the school of choice.
The event was the first at which Mrs Scott-Herron welcomed students as headteacher and she was brilliantly supported in doing so by head boy, Salman Rahman-Ali and head girl Sophie Chaddock.
The service was led by the Rev Paul Wilson, Rector of Warrington accompanied by the Rev Peter Bradley, Archdeacon of Warrington who delivered the “New Start” message to the new pupils.
As usual, the evening was well supported by many of Boteler’s associate and partner primary school head teachers and staff, who took time from their busy schedules, running their own schools, to attend
and present their ex-pupils to Mrs Scott-Herron.
