Winter Warmer double bill

LYMM Festival’s “Winter Warmer” film nights are back to brighten the dark nights.
The first double bill comes on Thursday, October 30 with two popular recent releases showing at the United Reformed Church on Brookfield Road.
At 5pm (doors open 4.30pm) the film is “How To Train Your Dragon 2”.
Set in a world of Vikings and dragons, the action comedy tells the story of a teenager who doesn’t fit in with his tribe’s tradition of dragon slaying.
At 8pm (doors open 7.30pm) the grown-ups can enjoy Helen Mirren in “The Hundred-Foot Journey”.
That’s the distance between the restaurant run by Michelin-starred French chef Helen Mirren and one operated by a newly arrived Indian family. Directed by Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey it has had great reviews.
Tickets, priced at £4 for the kids’ film and £6 for the adults in the evening (no concessions), are on sale from the Lymm Festival website www.lymmfestival.org.uk
It is recommended that tickets be bought in advance as we are expecting another sell-out.
