WARRINGTON Wolves have announced that Mike Lomax, managing director of Total Steelwork and Fabrication Ltd – a very successful local steelwork company – has joined the club’s board as a director.
Professor Steven Broomhead, chairman of the club, said: “We are delighted that Mike, with his successful business experience, has joined the club board. He shares the local passion for this club and has already been deeply involved in rugby development in the town. It’s important we continue to strengthen our skills both on and off the pitch and Mike’s appointment will add great value to this club.”
Mike added: “As a lifelong supporter of Warrington Wolves, I was thrilled and honoured to be asked to join the board at Warrington. I have always been a passionate supporter of the club and hope I can bring that passion to my role as a board member.”
Mike’s particular role on the board will be to focus on commercial and club sponsorship development.
