BRITISH bargain retailer Poundworld has opened a brand new store in Warrington situated near ASDA and Wilkinsons at the Cockhedge Shopping Park.
The store has created 30 new local retail jobs for the town.
Family-run Poundworld which was recently the subject of popular BBC1 documentary ‘Pound Shop Wars’, offers local shoppers a ‘value’ alternative to other high street retailers. With over 5,000 products for the bargain price of £1, savvy shoppers can take advantage of consistently great deals on leading brands to drive down the cost of their weekly shop.
Chris Edwards Junior, trading director at Poundworld, said: “We’re delighted to have opened our second store in Warrington and it’s great to be able to create 30 new retail jobs for the town in the process.
“We offer consistent low value our customers can trust and we hope shoppers will take advantage of the great deals we have on offer on a range of items from groceries to cleaning products and pet care. We hope our new store will offer shoppers fantastic convenience as well as saving them money.”
Yorkshire-based, Poundworld was founded in 1997 and has over 245 stores across the UK.
