Support for the elderly to be flagged up

WARRINGTON Borough Council is hosting an event to raise awareness of the support available to the elderly.
Older People’s Awareness Day will take place at Padgate House, Vulcan Close, on Wednesday October 1 and will showcase the range of activities and skills that benefit the centre’s patients.
Padgate House is a rehabilitation facility which enables patients to regain their independence and confidence after a fall, surgery, stroke or any other reason.
The Mayor, Cllr Ted Finnegan, and Mayoress will be opening the event at
11am and a buffet lunch will be served at 12pm.
