A JOBS club founded five years ago by local MP David Mowat is set to begin its 11th season on September 27.
Since it started in 2009, the club has helped more than 200 residents of Warrington find a job or start their own business.
Participants can take part in workshops such as “the Hidden Job Market – using social media to find work”, “Interview techniques” and “Leadership and Management.”
Those who complete the full 12-week course will gain an ILM Level 5 qualification in leadership and management.
Details of how to book a place can be found on www.davidmowat.org
The Warrington South MP (pictured) said: “I’m extremely proud of what my Jobs Club has achieved in five years. We have an 85 per cent success rate and the club has spawned many new businesses.
“Creating jobs in Warrington is my top priority. I want to see more people with the security of a pay packet, able to provide for their families and plan for the future.”
